FPS Boost was announced in February as a new feature for Xbox Series X backward compatibility with select Xbox One games. Microsoft announced FPS Boost support for those five games on Monday via Xbox Wire, saying that players can “expect to see an increase from 30 fps to nearly 60 fps” after enabling the feature. Those titles are Dishonored : Definitive Edition, The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Special Edition, Fallout 4, Fallout 76, and Prey. Five games from publisher Bethesda Softworks now support Microsoft’s FPS Boost feature, the technology that increases frame rates for games running on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, nearly doubling their original frame rates.
